Frequently asked questions
Common questions about Evalta AI.
Why is my scan taking a long time?
Most scans complete in 2-5 minutes. Longer times usually mean your site uses client-side JavaScript rendering — Evalta uses a full browser to analyse JS sites accurately, which takes longer than a standard crawl. If your scan has been running for more than 15 minutes, contact support@evaltaai.com.
Why are some checks showing "Requires Pro"?
Some SEO checks — like navigation structure, internal links, and content analysis — require a full browser render to produce accurate results on client-side rendered sites. These are available on Pro and Agency plans. Performance scores (PSI) are always available on all plans.
Can I scan any website?
You can scan any publicly accessible website. Some sites use aggressive bot protection that may block Evalta's crawler. If you're having trouble scanning a site, contact support@evaltaai.com and we'll help.
What is LCP and why does it matter?
LCP stands for Largest Contentful Paint — the time it takes for the main content of your page to appear. Google considers LCP under 2.5 seconds "Good" and anything over 4 seconds "Poor". Slow LCP directly affects bounce rate and Google rankings since Core Web Vitals became a ranking factor in 2021.
How often should I scan my site?
For active sites, weekly scans are a good default. After making significant changes (new theme, new plugins, major content updates), run a manual scan immediately. Use scheduled scans to catch regressions automatically.
What is the difference between Audit score and Content score?
The Audit score measures technical health — page speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO structure, meta tags, and schema markup. The Content score measures quality of your written content — depth, headings, readability. They're separate because you can have a fast, technically perfect site with thin content, or great content on a slow site.
Does Evalta store my website content?
Yes — Evalta stores page HTML, extracted content, and PSI results to power the AI analysis. Page content may be sent to Anthropic's API for AI processing. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@evaltaai.com.
Why does my score differ from what Google PageSpeed shows?
PSI scores can vary between runs due to network conditions, server response times, and Google's testing infrastructure. Evalta runs PSI on mobile by default, which typically scores lower than desktop. For the most stable results, compare trends over multiple scans rather than individual readings.
